London is the center of attention this weekend as the Olympics get underway. But while the Olympic games are set to begin tonight, one month from now the Paralympics will take place there and allow people with birth injuries and other disabilities to compete for the gold as well.
In preparation for the games, a commercial for the games has been released that both pays respect to the athletes who will be competingin the Paralympic games while also serving as a source of inspiration. According to Business Insider, the commercial was directed by Tom Tagholm and will advertise the games for Britain’s Channel 4.
The Paralympics were founded in 1948 and feature events for athletes with all sorts of disabilities, including all types of birth injury such as cerebral palsy and Erb's palsy. The games will take place in London between August 29 and September 9.
