Zach Anner, a well known internet comedian who was born with cerebral palsy, is going back to his online roots with a new travel show in which his audience will dictate the locations he travels to.
Many people first learned of Zach and his birth injury when he won Oprah Winfrey’s “Your OWN Show” contest and was awarded a chance to creates his own shown for the OWN Network. While his show - titled “Rollin’ with Zach Anner” - made it on the air, it was cancelled after four episodes due to low ratings.
However, Zach decided to continue developing a show, and is set to debut “Riding Shotgun with Zach Anner.” The show is groundbreaking in how it decides its locations in that users and fans will be able to pick where Zach travels. The series’ production will get underway from July 18-24 when fans can submit the ideas they want to see Zach visit.The locations for the show will be determined by July 30, when Zach and his crew will begin traveling and filming the show.
“You’ll participate in realtime as I hit the road with my top-notch team comprised of one clinical research lab rat and two former valets,” says the show’s website. “And just like that, you’re part of the gang! We’re hitting the road for six weeks and heading to eight cities of the Internet’s choosing in North America (Canada included).”
