From the time she was able to write, Tara has been telling stories. She spent her free time at the library, reading both fiction novels and science books, and by the time she reached middle school, she was reading at a college level.
Along with a full merit scholarship, she carried this dual love of engaging writing and complex topics with her to university, taking non-required classes like human biology and statistics as well as English courses.
After graduating with honors from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, Tara applied her English bachelor’s to the legal field, proofreading legal documents that required strict accuracy and the ability to interpret local statutes.
In her free time, she interned with a business consulting firm. There, she wrote everything from business proposals to technical guides to web content and honed her ability to research, interpret, and communicate complicated subjects clearly.
Eventually, her passions led her to freelance writing and editing. She took on clients who needed their complex topics communicated clearly and engagingly to everyday people. Tara wrote and edited content on everything from international politics and economics to gene editing.
Today, Tara is delighted to apply her passion for communicating clear, engaging, and helpful content on complicated topics to help those suffering from birth injuries get the medical, legal, and financial help they need.
