Registered Nurse (RN) Beth Carter is a mother of two and has been a nurse for 18 years. She is also Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC®).
To become certified as a legal nurse consultant, Beth completed various classes and took a certification exam in affiliation with the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC).
Throughout her near-20-year nursing career, Beth worked in labor and delivery units for 8 years.
She also has experience working per diem as a school nurse at her local elementary school.
Her compassion toward helping children and new mothers began after her first son was delivered prematurely at only 29 weeks.
Beth feels that her experience as a former NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) mom gives her a close connection with moms trying to navigate the hardships that may come with an early delivery or other traumatic birth events.
Beth and her family serve as passionate advocates for the health of new parents and babies, having been chosen as a March of Dimes Ambassador Family in 2018.
Beth partnered with the Birth Injury Justice Center in 2020 to medically review and fact-check the website’s content.
